The Ultimate Act of Spirituality

Which Is The Ultimate Act Of Spirituality
First things first: we are all spiritual beings because we are body, mind, and soul.
So the question isn't who is spiritual, because we all are. The real question is: What does acting spiritually look like?
If you're asking me, the answer is simple.
The ultimate act of spirituality is being able to see yourself, or parts of yourself, in every other human being.
Where spirit resides, there is only union. Spirit knows neither separation nor duality. Those belong to the ego, to the personality.
The personality thinks in terms of me and them. It sees division. It creates a state of separation.
Spirit, on the other hand, lives in unity.
So here's a small practice:
Instead of focusing on the differences between yourself and others, begin looking for what you have in common. Notice the shared humanity behind every interaction.
And don't limit this practice to the people you naturally like.
In fact, try it even more with the people you dislike.
That takes courage. It isn't easy to recognize yourself in someone who triggers you. Yet that's where the greatest transformation often begins.
As you continue this practice, something starts to shift. First, the change happens within you. And as your inner world changes, the way you relate to others begins to change as well.
If you stay with it, this way of seeing gradually becomes natural. It becomes a habit. You no longer have to force yourself to look for common ground because you instinctively recognize the same essence in every person you meet.
To me, that is the ultimate act of spirituality.
Think about it.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. If you decide to try this practice over the next few days, come back and let me know what you discovered.
